I am really looking forwards to helping MASK succeed. My aim is to take the burden off our amazing service delivery staff and volunteers by handling the majority of the back office work leaving them free to deliver a great service for all the families with children attending our sessions.
I have found the training I have undertaken and the work to structure our procedures and policies both interesting and stimulating. It is very satisfying to find that the business experience I gained when I had a proper job can still be useful.

Playwork Practitioner
I am looking forwards to returning to work after starting my own family. Before my maternity leave I worked at SCAMPS Out of School Club in Aberdeen which was attended by up to 40 children in a session. I have more than twenty years’ experience working in education and child care and holds several different qualifications including her SVQ (Level 7) in Social Service for Children and Young People.
I just love the variety of activities in out of school care, from group games, outdoor play and nature, to arts and crafts, history, science and even more!
Aoife Goodin
Playwork Practitioner
Aoife is a highly motivated “early years’ practitioner with strong experience leading play, creative activities and routines in nursery and school settings. She grew up in Midmar and between 2015 and 2017 regularly worked at the original Midmar After School Club so brings a wealth of local knowledge to our club. Other relevant experience includes being a Nursery Worker, Domestic Abuse Case worker and teaching English in Thailand. Currently Aoife is studying remotely at the University of Aberdeen for a PGDE in Primary Education.
